The Goal

Combining cutting-edge technology to deliver a sustainable and safe autonomous air traffic system.

This £3.7 million Innovate UK Future Flight Phase 3 project is a major milestone in uncrewed aviation.

With over 86 million aircraft predicted to be flying without a pilot by 2040, it’s essential that we develop innovative solutions for the future of flight.

Our Role

Lead partner, coordinating an eleven-partner consortium.

Ensuring delivery of a proof-of-concept Integrated Traffic Management system within a live, real-world air traffic environment.

Operational Intent Volumes (OIVs) for automatic strategic deconfliction of uncrewed-uncrewed.

Shared Positional Data (or Traffic Information Service) for tactical deconfliction of crewed-uncrewed.

We contributed our full suite of automation tooling and provided consortium partners with our enabling technologies.
