Our Role
Autonomy lead. We integrated our Flyte autonomy stack with Callen Lenz’s Frigata platform to flight demonstrate its capabilities for aircraft and terrain avoidance.
Onboard Autonomy:
A self-contained onboard system including Primary Radar, Lidar, and ADS-B coupled with a companion computer that communicated directly with the autopilot.
Full Systems Integration:
Successful integration with Callen Lenz’s system including both hardware and software, and mounting of Primary Radar and Lidar with forward Field Of View.
Proportionate and deterministic aircraft and terrain avoidance:
The DARi autonomy solution is a deterministic risk-based approach that fuses multiple data sources for ground and air hazards to produce proportionate responses to threats.
Flight demonstrated:
The capability was demonstrated through complex and rigorous flight trials including both aircraft and terrain avoidance.
